The philosophy behind good keeping
about me
I'm an artistic event planner and florist drawn to slow curation, sustainability, and the kind of details that make a space feel alive.
I grew up in Pittsburgh, lived for a time in Spain, and now call Berlin home where I formally studied floristry at the Berlin Flower School. My design sensibility started long before that, in the Salvation Army where I spent years hunting through aisles, building a collection that felt genuinely mine. What I noticed, over time, was how quickly things cycled through — trends in, trends out, and so much left behind. That’s why I prioritize event decor that has a life beyond the day itself. I collect pieces you can keep as heirlooms, pass to a friend's celebration, or fold back into your home. Never disposable, nothing generic.
I've applied that same thinking across other creative pursuits like fashion styling, sustainably-made clothing, and my greatest labor of love: my own wedding. I sourced every single piece of decor secondhand over months, made the floral arrangements myself, and even served rakija my husband distilled in our backyard. It was entirely handmade, entirely ours.
I fell completely in love with the process. My only wish was that I could have been more present for it. That's why good keeping was born.
I want your event to feel like you. Not a template, not a trend. I want you surrounded by the people, the food, and the objects that tell your story. Distance isn’t a factor. Whether we work together in person or remotely, I'll take care of the details so you can actually live fully in your moment.
